The Hunt Areas
Each hunt area was carefully chosen by Dale and Tara for the quality hunting the area offers. As you know, no single hunting area has all the best hunting for all species of game. So Dale and Tara have chosen to operate in four areas to offer a better selection of top quality hunts.
With Bearpaw Outfitters & Big Sky Trophy Outfitters, Dale & Tara are able to offer a variety of great hunts for many game species. Best of all, "licenses are available” over the counter with no draw needed for many of the hunts in these areas.
Southeast Idaho
Idaho is a top trophy big game hunting destination. Southeast Idaho has a long history of producing record class Mule Deer. In fact, several of the largest mule deer taken in Idaho have been taken in Southeast Idaho. (see Idaho Records)
There’s also trophy bull Elk hunting, Cougar hunting (Mt. Lion hunting), and excellent Shiras Moose hunting in SE Idaho. The mountain ridges provide exciting Forest Grouse hunting and the waters have great Fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, brook trout, walleye, and bass.
Eastern Montana
Montana is known as Big Sky Country and you will know why the first time you go there. Dale & Tara operate as Big Sky Trophy Outfitters offering trophy Mule Deer hunting, Elk hunting, Whitetail hunting, and Pronghorn Antelope hunting on eastern Montana Private Ranch lands.
Big Sky Trophy Outfitters lease thousands of acres of the best private ranch lands for their trophy mule deer hunts, antelope hunts, whitetail hunts, and elk hunts. Good hunting is also available for Upland Bird hunting and Varmint hunting. Hunters are amazed at the number of animals seen on these hunts and a high percentage book return hunts.
Northern Utah
Utah is a top destination for Mule Deer hunting, and now Utah Elk hunting has become a priority for trophy elk hunters. It’s no longer a question of whether a 400 class bull will be taken each year in Utah; the question is “How Many 400 Class Bull Elk will be taken?”
Utah also has great Shiras Moose hunting, Cougar hunting, and the Cow Elk hunting is very good. Bearpaw Outfitters cow elk hunts offer hunters a great opportunity to put meat in the freezer with an inexpensive elk hunt.
There is Upland Bird hunting and Waterfowl hunting and Utah even has Desert Bighorn Sheep. New in 2008, Bearpaw Outfitters is offering Utah Turkey hunts.
Northeast Washington
Washington is a relatively unknown destination to most hunters. Washington hunters have quietly enjoyed some of the best black Bear hunting, northwestern Whitetail deer hunting, Merriam’s Turkey hunting and Shiras Moose hunting available in the west.
There’s also good hunting for Mule Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Cougar, Varmints, Waterfowl, and Grouse, plus there’s plenty of great Trout Fishing and Walleye Fishing in the streams and lakes.
Northeast Washington is consistently the top producing whitetail, bear, moose, cougar, turkey, and grouse hunting area in the state of Washington. This is simply great game country and Bearpaw Outfitters have been guiding here for 30 years so they know the secrets of this hunting paradise.

Trophy Combos: Trophy hunts for multiple species.
Group/Corporate 10% discount for groups of 6+
Budget Hunts: A low cost alternative to the trophy hunts. Hunt for fewer days, but take the best animal possible.
Meat Hunts: Inexpensive hunt for antlerless game.
Guided or Unguided Hunts
Guided or unguided hunting options are available for most hunts with various accommodations included.
